Prep time

08-29-11

Yesterday, I got out and finished my list for tasks to do before the Orlando Open in October.

Hurricane Irene missed us but we created our own form of havoc in the back yard by trimming up most of what probably would have been knocked down. Other than the 3 big trees that are dead and just waiting to fall over.

My room mate leaves his discs in the baskets in the backyard, which gives them a short lifespan before they rot. I threw a rotted out Aviar over the house & thru the oak trees aiming for the recycling bins. It lodged straight down the backside of the inside of the middle one. Booooyah!

Getting ready for the FRPA convention and trying to wrap up what we needed to get done with Carly’s Playground, the Church course in N. FL, Project ‘X’, Sunrise, FL, and more.

I went for a run today for the first time in a while. Oh man have I slowed down. I took a short cut and still didn’t complete the run. I’ve got some work to do.

Tomorrow: Florida Recreation & Parks Association Convention
